How to make Awama

Preparation time: 10 minutes - an hour
Cooking time: 15 minutes.
Quantity: 6 people
The main Ingredients of the paste
1-Two cups of flour. 
2-A tablespoon of cornstarch.
3- Two cups and a half of warm water.
4-A tablespoon of sugar.
5-Half a teaspoon of salt. 
6-A tablespoon of yeast. 
7-Vegetable oil for frying.
The ingredients of sugar syrup
1-Three cups of sugar.
2- A cup and a half of water.
3- Two tablespoons of lemon juice.
4- blossom water, if desired.
The recipe
Preparing sugar syrup : 
1-put the water in a pot on fire and then add the sugar and leave it to be boiled several times until it melts completely. 
2-Add the lemon juice, and stir all the ingredients until they become homogeneous.
2-Leave the sugar syrup on a low heat until it becomes a thick texture. 
3-Take it out from the fire and then add the blossom water with a constant moving until components become  homogeneous  with each other.

4-Leave it aside to cool down.

Preparing  Awama
1-Bring the flour and put it in a large bowl, then add the dry ingredients over it 
2-Bring water and put it over the flour mixture with  kneading by hand until we have a soft and chewy dough.

3-Put the dough in a plastic bag and close it well then put the dough in a warm place for an hour until it is relaxed and some bubbles appear  on the surface. 
4-Prepare vegetable oil, preferably placed in a deep bowl and quantity of oil to be heavy.

5-Let the oil over high heat until it is heated.
6- Punch a small hole into the plastic bag in order to expel circles of paste gradually in the frying oil with constant stirring until they have golden color then take them out

7-put them on a blotting paper in order to remove the oil from them after that put them inside the sugar syrup
